that is scary. i was only kidding (obviously) when i said the reason kids have allergies cuz pregnant women dont drink or smoke anymore.. my mom did a lot of hard stuff when she was pregnant with me. marijuana, cigarettes, alcohol, uppers, downers. i guess for the most part i turned out okay. my younger sister however got stuck with a vision problem and a SEVERE learning disorder (she’s 18 but has the emotional maturity of an 11 year old.), according to doctors she’s been to. seeing her facebook posts are actually kind of cringe worthy.

Ditto, bxgrl. I also only speak for myself. Given the topic, though, I did want to share how grateful I am personally not to have foregone having children. Having said that, I’m also enjoying the newly empty nest! 🙂
dibs, no worries my mom would be the first to mention it, as the saying goes what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger so one could say I had an early start!
rf- it’s nothing you specifically said- it just seems to be a mom thing that comes out. I’ve sat at too many dinner tables listening to people talk about how you can’t really live unless you’ve had kids. Sorry- don’t mean to sound churlish –
