Donatella, wasted talent indeed. So tragic while at the same time being so stupid. After all that she’s done to herself, I don’t think a comeback is even possible for her physically speaking. She will never again sound anything close to what she formerly sounded like. It’s like taking a priceless hand-made antique violin and bashing on concrete and then trying to glue it back together. You may find most of the pieces and get it to look like it did pre-damage, but it will never ever put out the same sound.
I saw Chris Isaak in concert once. When he played “Wicked Game” the entire audience was so silent you could hear a pin drop. We all wanted to savor the performance and not miss a note.
