“I saw Chris Isaak in concert once. When he played “Wicked Game” the entire audience was so silent you could hear a pin drop. We all wanted to savor the performance and not miss a note.”
When I worked a Chris Isaak show it was at John M Greene Hall at Smith College and there were all of these student volunteers helping out (all women of course). His dressing room was downstairs next to where the catering table was and he left the curtain open while he was walking around in his boxers. The women were going crazy over him.

Sophie B. Hawkins should also be muzzled. Paula Cole is in threat of muzzling if she ever again considers singing that damned Dawson’s Creek theme song. Another hideous ditty that no one should ever have to hear again. Not even whilst torturing Katie Holmes.

10,000 Maniacs, M4L. And yes, they had a few great songs.

first concert: Rod Stewart
most recent: Panda Bear
I did lights for Natalie Merchant too! (the band you’re thinking of is 10,000 Maniacs). It was Springfield Mass circa 1993.
I’ve also seen Sophie B. Hawkins in concert. There were like 15 people there.
