m4l, I get your point. That’s part of what inspired the tattoos in the first place. I look like a fairly plain-vanilla-middle-aged-white woman, and work in a plain vanilla environment. The tattoos let people know there’s more going on (though you have to know me pretty well to see the tattoos in the first place, so that’s kind of a catch-22). Oh, and living in Brooklyn — yes, even Park Slope — gives me something of an outlier reputation as well!

no. rather if they believe you have interesting tattoo in interesting spot, they’ll believe you could be bi and anything else they previously wouldn’t have pictured you as

we have to be high tech/design driven. cant compete on more plain vanilla manufacturing with china and other lower cost countries. but given we have way way better patent laws (& enforced too), this is the place to come up with those genius ideas, inventions,…. – that’s the reason why geniuses like to come to this country to dream up that stuff (vs. if in china, someones will copy idea and gov aint backing him on patent, trademark rights)

PS – we had to rent a car b/c the Bimmer is in the shop -do you know my husband rented a friggin CAMARO – oy! – meantime just to note for those who don’t know me – but he’s black and I am white – so we are driving in this thing last night and he looks at me and is like – “you look right in this car, I on the other hand do not” – haaaaaaaaaaaaaa
