Its understable that you don’t know what it is seeing as you’ve only lived in the metropolitan area with the largest number of Jewish people outside of Israel for the last X years.

I always thought LA was going to be awful. But my 2 short visits of recent years, I thought much better nicer than all the derision. I didn’t think driving around was such a big deal and that there were interesting walkable areas too. Venice Beach, santa monica, hollywood, west hollywood.. Some really nice residential 1920’s stuff off Wilshire.
But SF really has the best looking neighborhoods. I could live there if I was ever banished from New York.

I was staying in Beverly Hills/West Hollywood border and it sucked. The air was so dirty, I almost lost a lung and driving anywhere took 6 hours and the people are SO STUPID AND VAPID!
Kinda hot though, but that was about the only good thing.
what is san diego like? my friend wants me to move out there but she told me it’s impossible without a car and that i’d find everyone vile but that otherwise i would love it. obviously i wouldnt go there as im afraid of earthquakes and wildfires.
