lech, that’s funny! i had an almost exact experience. could have been the same guy, except i engaged him and he turned really nasty on me lol. i mean he spouting hateful stuff to begin with, im not sure why i was shocked he turned on me when i was the only one who gave him attention. and yeah it was eerie cuz no one on the train was even looking at us. did he have bare feet? this guy had no shoes on which is why i started to give him the stink eye to begin with.
but yeah it’s usually best to ignore them. i have a hard time ignoring crazy people tho. thus why im typing here on this street of the internet.
Rob, Chinese and Jewish New Year have some things in common. You’re supposed to clean your house beforehand to have a good start for the new year. (I symbolically swept up some visible dust bunnies, just for good luck.) Family members from far away often come home for the holiday. China has a huge migration for the holiday, as everyone tries to go to their village in the countryside.
Wedding gifts can take a bit to process Pete because there is honeymoon and a shitstorm of other stuff. But a month seems like a long time. Wait a bit more then send him a note and say you just want to make sure he got it as you see it hasn’t been deposited.
Thanks, Jessi! She’s a pretty girl! (and she knows it.)

I agree about your goy boy Pete. Super nice guy.
Pete, nephew probably lost the chk and am now thinking “that cheap uncle of mine”
Sorry – got pulled away and couldn’t remember if I had already posted.
It took me forever to get my act together and deposit the checks for Juliette’s bat mitzvah. Fortunately none of them bounced.
