This is a far more blatant abuse than whether or not they are engaged in any political action.

You’re holding him up to be beyond reproach and this is an example of a very specific fraudulent abuse.

dave- like Pete, I think all religious institutions should give up their tax free status but that said, why pick on the iman? Churches routinely abuse their tax free status, including engaging in political action that by law they are not supposed to do. Even Westboro Baptist has tax-exempt status and they are not a church a much as a hate group.

So why pick on Islam because he took the same advantage (and much less so) of tax exempt status that every other religious group does? Can we please stop the ridiculous, and very transparent demonizing of this guy?
