I have a lot of respect for hurricanes / storms and beach houses. A little bungalow my parents had BLEW DOWN – no shit – during the ’92 Nor’Easter. One side of the house collapsed — it was right on the beach. I don’t know if any of you remember THAT one, it covered the FDR in water and totally flooded the subways. I never really experienced weather related destruction on that level before.
