Dave, the stoop looks great. I don’t know how this cement behaves but the color was almost black in the rain last week but dry it matches the building pretty closely — not perfectly but it can’t anyway since the color of the face of the place isn’t consistent.
Finally, we are back to normal at my place and I bought some nice flowers for the stoop to make the whole thing official. In the end, despite my angst and the mess of the job, this all turned out pretty well. Thank you.
“It probably comes out of the same hopper in the factory, just different bags. I would bet their Kirkland dog food is also equivelent to a premium brand. It amazes me what people will pay for pet food.”
This is true for almost all of Costco’s products. I have a friend who works for one of the big conglomorates and she confirmed that Costco AND Target has contracts with the same factories to basically wrap name brand products in their store brand packaging. I can’t remember the exact details of how it works, but I don’t buy name brand anything at Target or Costco if there is a store brand equivalent.
I had dinner at Roman’s on Dekalb Ave on Friday and it was absolutely terrible. Really shocking the Diner/Marlow guys could open such a lemon.
Only QUEENS get TIARAS, donatella.

“I am going to write one and if I win, I would like a TIARA, please.”
ROFL! Now now…demanding a tiara isn’t very tiara-lady-like! LOL

Yes, Cobble, folks are getting pushy on us!
DCB, I bought more VOD and NRP today. 7.3% and 8.4% yields.
