We are AT WAR with radical Islam. They have killed, and continue to kill, Americans. We have been at war for over 10 years. In recent years, the attacks have come more and more from home-grown terrorists.

We as a society have every right to ask about the source of funding of a cultural center that is going up at Ground Zero. They don’t have to respond, as they have refused to do so far. I and others then have the right to form an opinion about them. I also have the right to ask them about their opinion of a group that is AT WAR with us, that wants to kill Americans. Once again, they don’t have to respond. I will make my conclusions from that refusal.

As to the issue of my responding to your post, it’s a funny habit I have when I see my name called out and my positions characterized in someone’s statement. Odd habit, I know.

Ah, I see I missed another lively debate about the CULTURAL CENTER.
