When the weather is such that I can wear jeans, a long sleeved cotton tee and perhaps a light jacket is the best, IMO. I hate freezing and I hate sweating.

How about “The End of the Summer of our Discontent Party”?
Between the heat and natural disasters, the economy, and the compounded idiocy of the human race (BP, Cultural Center, politics in general), this has been one discontented summer.
I’m looking forward to fall, a time of clear air, warm jackets, new seasons in the arts and in the mindset of people, and hopefully new economic opportunities of all kinds. Bring it on!
