I love cheese!
This, I believe, is the first time I’ve ever heard you categorically like something.
Come on over for dinner sometime (weell maybe just for dessert sincee you won’t like what I cook for dinner) and we’ll have a cheese course. Tonight I’m having some St. Aubrey and Morbier. I finished all the Stinking Bishop last week. 🙁

this is a funny post i read about that topic on citydata

Real reason Hipsters gravitate towards the Ghetto
——————————————————————————–
Hipsters are one of the biggest consumers drug market in the hood. One of the reasons the first hipsters started to rent in certain neighborhoods in the city was the availability of certain strain of marijuana. Termed as haze and such from Brooklyn.
Real hood people don’t complaint about gentrification because that means they can substantially increase the cost of their wares to quintuple. To a black it can cost $20/gram but to transplants or whites in general it can be $100/gram.
Compared to other Caucasian habitual drug users like Italians, poles, Russians, Jews, etc. hipsters have no qualms getting the drugs from blacks. Higher revenue for small crews of blacks means better access to automatic weapons. This has fueled the up tick of gun crimes we have seen since 2005.
In areas like the projects there is the practice of keep “neighborhood guns” that is shared among different people in the community. Their primary use is for muggings and assault. One way to keep down snitching is to have different people especially younger ones touch these guns and have their fingerprints on them.
However, before people outside of the main crews could use these guns they have to perform premeditated “jacking” which involves mugging at anyone not belonging to the community or in particular white people.
White male hipster is protected from being outright shot, but they can be beaten, due to their status as high paying customers. Women and hipsters of other races are not offered that protection.

“Huge bust at hipster drug den”
I’ve relied on Fresh Direct for much of my cheeses, and they never disappoint, but this time, I’m thinking I’d like to have the experience of going to pick it out in a store. I love cheese!
ishtar, i understand what you are saying. about people asking why dont you move? it’s not always easier and sometimes people get stuck in their situation or just give. i moved to park slope from harlem because i needed a bit of a better quality of life. i could have easily remained in that apt in harlem where i paying super cheap rent but i hit the tipping point where i couldnt take it anymore. and this was in a really nice section of west harlem, in the 130s on riverside drive in a great pre war giant apartment building. between the trouble outside in the neighborhood and rather horrible situation i was having inside of my apartment i got tired of complaining about it and just decided to extract myself from the situation.
i can deal with the stereotypical annoyances of park slope more than i was able to deal with the stereotypical annoyances in harlem, tho like i said it was more INSIDE my apartment. the only thing i miss about harlem were the cheaper amenities and funnier people.
Thanks, Cobble! My tummy is feeling much better and I’m ready for some real food now 🙂 I’ll likely hold off on the quiche for a few more days, but I’m prepping for it (gotta get the pan, the cheese, study the recipe, etc.).

Hey ishtar, just curious: why don’t you move? (It’s a logical question given your posts today, so I wonder why you refuse to answer it.)

“Ishtar – hang in there with Cobble…She’s warming up to you!! She made me pay my dues, too. ”
yeah – she accused you of being a fat, balding male sexual predator and made you meet up with Biff to make sure you had a vag.
those were the days!
Find the Ina Garten recipe for crust that uses lard. LARD.
Thanks, Cobble! My tummy is feeling much better and I’m ready for some real food now 🙂 I’ll likely hold off on the quiche for a few more days, but I’m prepping for it (gotta get the pan, the cheese, study the recipe, etc.).
Stinky – great name, nice people, and super tasty jamon!
