  1. rf, pull the tag off the shelf and scan it at the price scanner. It will tell you if the item is in the stock room. 99.5% of the time, it is. I do this, show it to them, and make them go get it for me. They aren’t happy to do it, but they have to do it. I would go to another Target though, but the one at AC is within walking distance from me so convenience wins out ever time.

  2. “I think every store in AC has a policy – they won’t hire you unless you are a gum-cracking, bad attitude having, weave flipping, cell-phone using while working dill-hole. The Pathmark over there is the worst.”

I gotta get my ass over there and have some fun dealing with THAT.

    Lechacal, want to come along???????

  3. “lol they arent there to help you. they just show up to get paid and text their baby daddies all day. if you dont like it, go shop somewhere else.

That’s my point – i DO shop elsewhere! – haha

  4. I agree with Ishtar that the Target at Flatbush and Nostrand is much, much better than the one at Atlantic Center, although there are times when it’s impossible to park. From my house, it takes the same amount of time to get there on the bus to get to either one. The one at College Point, Queens (on the way to the Whitestone Bridge) has a parking lot and is also way better. I think the same distance as NJ and no bridge or tunnel toll. I work in Queens so it’s a quick ride.

What I really hate about the Atlantic Center one is that they are always out of everything, especially everything allegedly on sale, even if you get there at 8 a.m.

  5. Gem, you are right, the AC Target staff are a surly bunch. That’s true whether it’s at 8am or 2pm. I think every store in AC has a policy – they won’t hire you unless you are a gum-cracking, bad attitude having, weave flipping, cell-phone using while working dill-hole. The Pathmark over there is the worst.

  6. I don’t think it’s fast enough for that. besides, i don’t watch movies on my computer. That’s what the LCD TV is for!!!!!!

Speaking of movies, I just found out that there’s a prequel to Silence of the Lambs, called Hannibal Rising. It’s about his early years as a child and growing up as a medical student. Can’t wait to see it.

  7. Rob, standing on your head is terrible for GERD. I can’t even bend over right now without yaking! I’m on a double dose of Prilosec and it’s starting to work. Just can’t eat to many things yet. But I’m finally able to lay down flat – was getting sick of sleeping propped up on the couch 🙁

  8. quote:
am not a fan of Target AC b/c in the 3 times I went, the staff there is not only uninformed about where things are – they really aren’t helpful

lol they arent there to help you. they just show up to get paid and text their baby daddies all day. if you dont like it, go shop somewhere else.
