ishtar, how about a decent ring, a studio in Kensington and a semi-hoopty? I do have cable WITH premium channels though (We all need our share of stupid reality TV here and there)
Why do I picture rob, whom I’ve never met, in the drivers seat as a student passenger with a cig hanging from his mouth cursing traffic lights and pedestrians?
No, you have this entirely wrong, istar. Rob actually rode shotgun in my car a couple of times home from Montero. Quiet, respectful, very polite. I, on the other hand, could have been the one yelling out the window — probably at bicyclists going the wrong way. 🙂
Fine ishtar, I can live with giving one Diamond in a lifetime since you try not to consume more than you really need :o). We can always negotiate the rest.
Sorry, Kens, I love diamonds. LOVE them. If I’m at all concerned about some baby losing it’s arm in the mining process I can avoid Africa and buy Canadian.

DIBS on straight marriage = Rob on high finance.
If you live in NJ but work in NYC, do you pay NYC income tax?
Diamonds are not rare and the prices are not justified. I will blame DeBeers for controlling the supply.
Kens, all I need is one good ring, a decent house, a car that runs, and I’m generally happy. I won’t even ask for cable. 🙂

are diamonds really that rare a commodity that their price is justified?
If you want to keep getting laid after marriage, yes.
