benson, I too cracked up at someone who seems to want less guvment everywhere, but more guvment at home.
Two other comments:
First, if you don’t like the way your building is run, or as you say, they don’t know what they are doing, the answer is simple: Do what I did and get on the board.
Second, all the sh*t on the terraces in these new condos is a direct result of them being so goddam tiny. No room for anything inside, so outside it goes.

Pretty much describes me, altho I am in favor mainly cuz it pisses people off that I like to see get pissed off. Plus, the other two reasons, let them suffer like the rest of us, and why should the guvment stand in the way of two people who want to sign a contract. BTW, I’m 55, so does that make me on of 20% or sumting?
But what I do know is that society, every so often, changes its mind on certain things. Gay marriage is one of those things.
– Gay marriage probably isn’t the end of the world, but someone thinks it is. Meanwhile they are dancing in the streets of 11217 at yesterday’s news.
– Park Slope has some conservatives. Rob is one and so am I.
– Taxes are too high unless you’re rich or poor (delete as preferred).
– cmu lurves Europe but gets super-offended when people suggest he live there then.
– When bagging Ruth Bader Ginsburg or Rosie O’Donnell be sure to use three bags.
– No-one really knows what tybur or ENY looks like but sounds like we had some close guesses.
