(sorry but i dont want my non drivers motor vehicle ID to claim i live in manhattan). is that a problem? would they still be sending mail to that address? i never ever do the mail forwarding thing when i move either. is that a problem? am i going to get a warrant out for my arrest like the poster above!?

I agree. Especially on criminal cases against crooked financiers and lawsuits against corporations.
I was called up to be enpanelled (sp?) for a jury and just told them I couldn’t miss that much work. They not only dismissed me from that panel but also for the entire process.

wasder’s guilty admission of the day–when my first daughter was about to be born I was called for jury duty. Desperate as I was to get out of it and not be called for an actual trial during the possible week of her birth I resolved to have an unreasonably strong opinion about whatever the case was going to be about. IT turned out to be about a firetruck that hit a pedestrian and I claimed (with a squeamish feeling in my stomach) that I was prejudiced against the NYPD and couldn’t be a fair juror. was dismissed swiftly and given my walking papers to my great relief.
the Manhattan Idiots issued a warrant out for my non compliance to serve jury duty. those bumble f*ck’s systems are not f’ing linked – ie they dont know that I’ve moved from Manhattan for 8 yrs now, served jury in kings county, file taxes and drivers license in Bk address. I’m still waiting / wondering if & when a cop will pull me over and say they got a warrant on me.

LFMAO. people on welfare!? are you kidding me? no one would ever be found guilty! unless it was a case against the NYPD.

APC, my last stock idea on BStoner, has turned out to be a really great call.
