NYC home sales up, despite national dip
July 22, 2010 12:30PM
The median price for a single-family home in New York City was $411,000 in June 2010, a 5.9 percent increase from June 2009’s $388,100, according to the National Association of Realtors. Home sales in the city also saw a 21 percent year-over-year increase. With the scheduled closing deadline for the homebuyer tax credit looming, existing home sales nationwide slowed in June but remained at relatively elevated levels. Existing home sales, which are completed transactions that include single-family homes, townhouses, condominiums and co-ops, fell 5.1 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.37 million units in June, from 5.66 million in May. But the June figure marks a 9.8 percent year-over-year increase from June 2009’s 4.89 million units. Lawrence Yun, NAR’s chief economist, said the market was showing “uncharacteristic yet understandable swings as buyers responded to the tax credits.”
Yeah. You had the president breaking the law, radical, home-grown terrorists robbing banks and killing police officers, riots in nearly every major city, blackouts, and war. The good old days.
You know what I’m taliking about, ENY.
Today we still have the President breaking the law, radical home grown terrorists, blackouts and war.
“The right wing nut jobs of the party have spoiled it for the rest of the party, and contributed more than their share to the general uselessness of the political process in far too many venues.”
I agree.
“Everything back then was fairly genuine despite it being in a drug induced state. Today, political correctness actually hinders any progress. More progress was made on race relations back then. it was also apolitical, which it is not now.”
Yeah. You had the president breaking the law, radical, home-grown terrorists robbing banks and killing police officers, riots in nearly every major city, blackouts, and war. The good old days.

Yes, people do ‘correct’ their accents, donatella.
I still pronounce the words ditto cited the ‘wrong’ way and somehow managed to get a job, though!
Legion – let me know
If not world peace, certainly you’ve fostered peace with Southeast Asia and Mexico.
