jessi, Twin Peaks is so nice, trying to get my host to move there. It’s also on BEDROCK, unlike SOMA. I lived in Noe Valley briefly, then (S)Nob Hill. (That was for Rob.; ) )
m4l – I realized how gray skies impacted my mood when I spent my first winter in New York (compared to olde London towne). It may have been brass monkeys cold, but I saw the sun nearly every day. Made a huge difference to my mood.
Lechacal, portland is the new san francisco. seattle is nice too. SF *is* 200% yuppie. And denver sucks. So, I’m with him.
CGar, if they’re in the same office then your broker shouldn’t have to put up with this. lame on both sides. I’d be tempted to write a note and put it under door of house.
I can’t tell you how any times a broker has f’d me over. Well, I can tell you: 3 times. “They won’t accept lower than x” (then place sells for x -100k). “Sorry, they got a better bid, not even taking back ups” (turns out our offer never presented, selling broker only presented offer he received so he didn’t have to split commission). and another time too hard to summarize, but really awful.

CH – my friend lives in Queen Anne. I’m a fan of Ballard.

Rob, I think you’d like SF.
Seattle can be beautiful, but the cloudy days can get to you. Person I’m visiting used to live there on Queen Anne.

Anything involving Corcoran that seems too good to be true most likely is.
Your bro sounds cool, though.
When I was young Yuppy meant Young UPwardly mobile Professional.
Now it doesn’t mean that.
