  1. dittoburg,

it’s a very interesting question, no doubt.
humans adapt to the environment, that’s known,
but how fast does it occur?

today we don’t have the environmental pressures
and isolation that early humans had.

  2. The Bush / Cheney 2004 bumper sticker was so well designed. In big, slightly unfashionable upper case and wrapped in the flag. Encapsulated the style and message of the campaign perfectly.
Compare the spindly, weak looking soft focus Kerry / Edwards stickers. I think the Obama team had good design as well – they learned the lesson that design in itself can convey a message.

  3. Legion – to do it in one generation and sustain it would need a pretty big advantage no?

Perhaps advantages of high vitamin D from sunlight in white skin vs. black in the low light levels of Northern Europe? Seems unlikely.

  4. Helloooooo!

anyway – I do miss you all – I’ll just jump in during any convo above!

  5. tee he hee, snappy and MM,

speaking of blue eyes and human migration patterns,
everyone will find this story fascinating.
A black couple in England had a white baby
and neither of them has white ancestry.

    http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3060907/Black-parents-give-birth-to-white-baby.html

The child does not have Albinism, but is
a glimpse into the workings of the human genome.
we all know that mankind migrated from
Africa in waves over the past 100k years.
could such a genetic shift have developed
into the other races? and in one generation?
