I can see that it’s pointless to discuss this with you.
If you believe that it’s fine to: a) first make a pronouncement about a person’s opinion (Jumped the shark of political correctness) b) not respond to their counter-point and c) then just proceed to use their point as fodder for snark, then so be it.
I, however, have the right to form an opinion about a person who think that this style of discussion is fine.

DIBS, you didnt finish your DILF post
do you really want me to???
donatella, that attraction is the whole reason for http://www.silverdaddies.com as well. There are a lot of guys who like older guys and it is not a money thing.
This DILF thing is giving me a little trouble. In principle it sounds meritorious, but the source makes it a little suspect, at least from where I stand.
“You do not respect, or debate, differences . . . your style of conversation is to try to trivialize the other person’s position through snark, rather than conversation.”
benson, I don’t know the Biff you’re describing in your angry posts this afternoon, but I think you got the wrong guy. He respects differences and doesn’t trivialize other people’s positions (nh), even if he doesn’t agree with them, but, like me and many others here, is in the OT for FUN, a FUN respite from a long, hard work day, and I for one appreciate his humour (even though it is Canadian) and snarkasm, as it’s one of the reasons I started posting here in the first place.
As for the issue at hand, Biff — and I and clearly many others here, not to mention the MILFs and the DILFs we all know — personally find the term harmless and funny. So we have a different opinion. You have your opinion. We have yours. What I don’t get though — and never do — is why discussions such as these have to devolve into ad hominem attacks on someone???
Donatella, was that young/younger guy cute? you werent interested? it’s all fair nowadays. old dude with young girl so why not the reverse
everyone is harshin my zen – chill people
Biffy, she’s hanging in there. I’ll be seeing her tomorrow so will have better details on Monday.
