“you would have used your keys to my apartment and smothered me to death with my own glitter in my sleep!”
And whose to say one of us won’t anyway??? Or, it could be like Murder on the Orient Express, ‘cept we’ll call it Murder Over Ellis, and it could be ALL of us. ‘cept we’d NEVER do that to YOU Snappifer.
Snappy, speaking of glitter, I’m still finding glitter in my car which I recently was cleaning the interior last wk. it still makes me giggle when I see a piece of glitter
But Cargar, if I had gone and gotten you all sick, you would have used your keys to my apartment and smothered me to death with my own glitter in my sleep!
Late to the party, but I too wish Arcady the best. Snappy, Will send you an email.
Benson, as someone who grew up upstate, I really think the decline of Utica, et al, which was only about an hour drive from me, was more due to the disappearance of manufacturing. Plants which made everything from aircraft parts to Pepto Bismol closed up and moved off shore. When I was a kid, my friends parents either worked for a local factory, or were farmers. By the time I graduated high school most of the manufacturing plants were closed or closing.
Now, some high tech companies are trickling in, but they are very small, and don’t hire the older people who don’t have specialized skills. It’s been a mess up there for a long time, and is a microcosm of a national problem, the exporting of manufacturing jobs.
As for Texas, I don’t know if I could move to a state that just approved textbooks that don’t mention evolution, along with some other far right notions of science and history. They are going to be turning out some dumb kids who will not be able to function in the 21st century.
CGar, I just had the 4th incident. late over the top all-cash offer takes me out of the race. only fair that a deep pocket cash buyer will do that when I sell my coop
