NY…ever fly into kai tak airport, the old airport in Hong Kong??? this was a truly spectacular approach (especially at night) in between a lot of buildings. You could literally see inside apartment flats.
And venice is one of the best places in the World to visit. Lat time we were there around thanksgiving it snowed there….it was really great. The boat ride in from the airport is great.
Thanks., ENY. it’s a lot of fun and has been so for 4 years. this is the first time I’ve had a problem. I don’t know how the prop broke…maybe just a stress crack or hit something floating below the surface. that was an easy fix since I have extra props. But it sliced a gash in the fiberglass coating on the bottom and that was bad. it had to dry out and they patched it today.
The engine has such a great deep throttling sound.

Indeed…that’s always been one of my favorite arrivals into any city. Just incredible.
Prices are not quite as staggering as I had imagined…
Here’s a nice one…cheap…with the fiberglass applied to the bottom.

I’m sure Mrs. D wishes your bottom was in such good shape!!
denton…there’s a big show on Lake George every year…they get a lot of the racers from the 30s and 40s.
You can get a nice one for $15k…that’s what mine cost…plus another $2,500 in work

You boat is pretty cool, Dave. It looks like Venetian motoscafi.
