Again, I’m sorry for your loss and I hope you are doing as well as you are able.

Parental relationships can be funny things. Many men have strained relationships with their fathers; I have always had a great realationship with mine. My mom is an odd one though. She’s always in some corner of the globe, sometimes hard to find out where. Last I knew she was off to Syria to ride camels in the desert and talking about doing locum tenens work in the Australian desert when she got back. She blew up a house once. Bits of it were found about a quarter mile away.

im not sure how i feel about all the giants ads in the papers “Turn your food stamps into fresh, “affordable” food at your greenmarket”. granted i think people should buy healthy food with their welfare benefits cards, but this advertising is just so in your face.. like can’t they tell them they can do this at the welfare office or send a letter to their homes instead of shoving it in peoples’ faces? especially those of us who are reading the paper while eating a vinegar sandwich!? grrrr
