jb, I got my wish from Friday’s OT, and got to play with my share of boobs on Friday night. And I’m not just talking about the PLUSAs I was with.
(For this limited purpose only, I hereby release Biff, DH, donatella, EmilyNonko, lechacal, *rob*, and Mary, from the “What Happens in Vegas” clause of the PLUSA Confidentiality Agreement.)
Atlantic is always an option. Maybe they would like Chip Shop (ok, so that’s more English than New Yorky) or Henry Public? Also lots of decent middle eastern places around there too.

Hey, all! Need suggestions for a restaurant in the Heights this evening for a woman from UK (50-ish) & some Canadian relatives – an aunt & uncle (late 70s), their daughter & 2 grandkids (15 & 18). Something not too expensive but reasonable, w/ drinks, New Yorky.
Oh, right, jb, how could I forget Jack the Horse. Noodle Pudding is good, too. I’ve recently been turned on, and turned on to sushi, and Iron Chef House on Clark is great.
Ok, I just saw that you said the “kids” are 15 and 18. So they won’t have to worry about high chairs and disturbing other patrons. But Teresa’s is still a good option.
I was sooooo expecting a commuter shi+storm today cuz the M train doesnt come thru gowanus anymore! i was pleasantly surprised that the regular R train was not more crowded than normal. and the bonus? the conductor was not the typical R train conductor who has that nasal whiney maybe bloomberg type voice but had a smooooooooooth black man voice lol like he was talking in a Alize commercial. yay! good start to the day. i hope he’s the regular conductor. woo woo!
i got a career offer in san diego this weekend. as a butler. shi+ you not.

My train was empty today. Must be the end of school and vacation week for most.

Arkady, I like Bread and Butter. Not cheap though but not too bad.
