dona, I know, I just don’t get them very often, and I found this one amusing! Imagine if someone DID write you a REAL note like that!
I just let my imagination run with it for a few minutes, it was fun! Hello house in Cobble Hill! And Snappy and CGar live next door! My beautiful life…
CGar, re Spam, today I “found” a really important email from someone with whom I am trying to do business in my trash file (from LAST WEDNESDAY!!!). Not good.
Yahoo’s anti-spam filter is knocking out a lot of ordinary (and important) email. I have to remember to check it.
Cobble, that is the cashier’s check scam. I get at least one of them a day.
Dibs, my new great drycleaner had a period of chaos after someone quit there and he lost a sweater of mine. He offered to pay me for the sweater, but I told him to wait a little while and then someone returned it when they got it in error. But I think free drycleaning is a good way to get compensated for your shirt.
“That was my thought exactly! I can see why you (DIBS) might have had reason to see the lobby and bar, but one does wonder how — in the middle of a work day — you’d have reason to have seen one of the rooms, and to evaluate its size.”

LOL at your 3:08 and 3:12, dave.
Kens, interesting. Doesn’t seem to be anything I can do to prevent it.

dibs,
…checking my “briefs”?
I heard of going through “discovery” prior to trial,
but this is ridiculous!
“Answer: Singapore Airlines flight attendant.”

denton, it was on Bloomberg…it’s not Tishman. The Reveh group (Metropolitan) bought it from Tisman in 2007 for $648MM…right at the peak!!!
