Well, Kens, what happened is that the bolt on the bottom (outside of the tank) was supposed to be….what do they call it?…..finger tight?…meaning you should be able to unscrew it with your fingers. NOT. The guys who put it in made it so tight, I had to use a wrench and still couldn’t get it off. About the fifth time I tried with the wrench, I accidentally pinched my own finger cutting it. I’ll have John Hlad over tomorrow but will get him to check out a few other things when he is there — my other big worry, drainage in my backyard when it rains hard, so I’ll make him work a little. He will charge me a real plumbers fee to come over. 🙁
Rob (in case you’ve not gone yet)
1) If not enough people can afford them, they will close. No big deal.
2) It’s more interesting to read about bars than about dollar stores, at least in my opinion.
3) I used to live in the cheaper part of the UES. Brooklyn Heights / Cobble Hill is already more expensive than that and Park Slope and Carroll Gardens about the same.
“Why do people return after blogiciding?”
I didn’t announce I was blogaciding at the time….so I’m not embarassed.

I’m going to use “blogicide” as my new euphamism for “nooner.”
Rob wont last a day – not when “Jerry” (11217) is back posting here
“gunning my 4 cylinder”
Wimpy useless piece of machine 🙂
8-cylinders in my metal tin – HA!
And my horn is loud!
We could have done serious damage with my car alone.
My boobs on the other hand……
Why do people return after blogiciding?
Imagine how embarrassing it would be if you could return after committing suicide.
I’m opting for hours, not days.

dona – Watch Hlad. Maybe it was just a matter of its being seized w/ rust & needed stronger approach?
