I understand it’s a part of South African soccer tradition (at least since around 1998), but it really takes away a lot of the viewing experience when once can’t hear the crowd noise, including the songs that are so unique to soccer crowds, the sounds of excitement as it builds when a team has a scoring opportunity, the whistles when the crowd disagrees with something on the field, etc.

No, I worked at a Habitat site Saturday and got dumped this weekend and frankly, forgot about it.
