Not yet M4L. Only a couple, which is fine. I know a bunch of spots in Motreal for food AND I am not looking to go to strip clubs, thanks :o).
Denton and Dave, thanks. Checked out Algonquin, looks perfect. It seems like they have a lunch menu so hopefully will be open around noon. I’ll call prior.
you know what’s really starting to annoy me? that like every single store these days feels the need to have a sidewalk chalkboard outside their store/deli/coffee/clothing store, etc etc etc etc. with witticisms written on them that are far from witty and drawings done in chalk (im imagine they do employ some people who graduated with art degrees at least tho). i just find these things obnoxious. im hitting up the dollar stores this weekend and plan to get a watergun so i can squirt the boards that most annoy me. i cant get in trouble for that right?
i think the one that annoys me the most is the one outside the lyceum on 4th avenue near the union street stop, being forced to have to read the different idiotic thing written on it everyday ruins my subway ride.

Thanks Denton, I am just driving to Montreal during July 4th weekend and figured Lake George is on the way so would be a nice place to grab a bite during the late morning/afternoon. I’ll check out the places you mentioned.
kens, can’t think of any places for breakfast that are actually ON the water… except for the Sagamore of course. You might want to look into the place by Chips Marina, I _think_ it’s called the Algonquin, that is on the water, you can arrive by boat. But not sure if they’re open for breakfast.
CGar, you’ll likely end up in BK Heights. In order for you to fit in, you need to carry a “stuck up prick” image. BK Heights residents work super hard for that image so if you can hack it, live in another hood cause you dont belong (paraphrasing DIBS’ oft-used line of this sort)

Kens, Biff gave you all the “juicy” spots for Montreal yet?
Speaking of Snorah Jones, greetings from Bonnaroo!
The Algonquin used to be a very rustic place. It was “our bar” when we all camped on Huckleberry 3 island.
I’m sure there are many places on the water but I don’t know any of their names anymore.
There was a really great place way up on the north part of the lake on the eastern shore called LeRoy’s many years ago

That’s fairly close to my cousin’s too. They are in Richboro, Willow Grove area. I think we’ve discussed this before.
