I, too, have a mechanic to recommend, in Carroll Gardens. Lee’s Auto Service, corner Smith and 3rd Sts., entrance to the Carroll St. F train station across the street.
Owned and run by 2 Chinese brothers from Guangzhou who came here as teens. When they paid off the mortgage they stopped working weekends, but they are open M-F 9-5. Honest, smart, reasonably priced, won’t do any work until they call you with an estimate. Body work, mechanical work, inspections. Cash only.
I’ll be splitting my time between here & BK indefinitely, donatella. I think there’s a chance I could move back to NYC full time in 3-5 yrs but I am not sure.
I will, however, be back in BK a lot. Probably most weekends over summer & for a while around Labor Day.
CCar’s right, in corporate environments, the whole hierarchical world of clerical assistants has been blown to bits. Professionals mostly do their own spreadsheets, powerpoints, documents, etc.
Nice, etson. I hope you can make one of the PLUSA gatherings…
Expense reports, coffee, ordering office supplies…where will the indignities end?! ; )
