Hi Denton, changing the subject for a minute….. Regarding your door, did you decide? It seemed like a few people had ideas about where to order a salvage one. Have you checked out Eddie Hibbert’s place (Grand and Greene)? He has a lot of salvaged doors, indoor and out and you can get one pretty cheap from him. Many of them are beat up, but he strips them for you and you can have a guy like OMAR rehab it for you — a great carpenter His number is 646-541-3409. http://www.artisticwoodcrafts.blogspot.com/
I actually had new doors made for the brownstone, but knowing what I know now, I would have bought old doors (so much better made). I have Omar’s number (he did a lot of work with the renovation and is good, fairly priced, really knows doors. He might even have some doors in his workshop.
Gem, sorry about the job, too. Welcome to the PLUSA Ladies Club of the unemployed/underemployed/self-employed. We’d send you a manual, but we can’t afford to put one out.
Gem, email me. Most of job openings at my place are looking for Product Development Marketing experience but I might have an idea where you could apply that has openings….
I’m staying out of the Cobblehiller vs. Rob thing. Although as usual Rob is completely wrong.
Sorry about you job G10. I feel your pain. I bought my house in early 2001 and by ’02 was laid off. I’m sure you’ll weather the storm. Geminis are tough and resourceful. Do you qualify for unemployment?

Ladies and gentlemen, life sucks.
