Arkady, I would ask Bill Barnett. Omar would want to do the whole job, but I think Bill would do a good job, would be happy for the work and do it quickly and inexpensively.
I like Fort Tilden. Re Benson’s great bike ride, I also really like the idea of riding a bike in an area where you are protected and can actually enjoy where you are as opposed to riding in traffic. I don’t want to get Dirty Hipster or Tyburg riled up, but I just don’t see the appeal of taking on the risk of the unpredictable things on the road, including pot holes, glass, taxi cabs, lunatics etc, even when you are following all the traffic regulations.
Ark, if you want the best millworker in NYC and willing to pay thru the nose, I can pass on his info.
He only does very high end work….and won’t waste his time with one cabinet.
If you want a custom kitchen, library, etc. and want the best, he’s the guy.
yeah i dont know if i’d want to go into the water without a lifeguard around. a bunch of people have drowned already this summer!! plus i dont know to swim anymore 🙁 it’s not like riding a bike btw, you really can forget how or just flat out lose the ability.
dona – I have the beginnings of built-in bookcases – shelves, etc. all done but cabinet doors & moldings still needed. Would you recommend one guy over the other? Ask estimates from both?
Biffers – You’re a meatball.
Thanks, dona. Tight for time this week but I’ll phone next week.
ET – And I’m very protective of my nose.
