donatella, they are also more commonly referred to as “rice,” while Caucasians are referred to as “potatoes.”
Latinos are referred to as “beans.” It’s not considered racist or derogatory in the gay world, just descriptive.
Think “rice queen,” “bean queen,” potato queen” and of course, “sticky rice.”
