“if one choses to go for a low or lower paying gig, one cant be hating on someone who chose to go for a high or higher paying gig”
and therein lies the rub. it’s not ‘hating’ it’s an idealist viewpoint that there should not be such a disparity in salaries. The weird thing is that most people agree…else we would not have ANY progressive taxation at all. So it’s more a matter of degree..I think that ration should be say 50 to one tops instead of what it is.

young people nowadays can’t take that risk cuz they are slaves to their debt.
perhaps they wouldnt be in such debt if they didnt insist on having thousands and thousands of dollars worth of electronic gadgets. :wags cane: hahahah
i do see what youre saying. one of the reasons for this is that anyone can get a college degree these days. look how many special ed-like colleges there are in nyc alone!
Nobody could argue that Steve Jobs is overpaid.
But I agree there are a lot of mediocre CEO’s who are much better at manipulating their compensation than they are at growing a business.
Looks good Dibs. I see what you mean about the pork, but that’s fine. Especially for my friend, who will order BBQ.
Thanks.

“DH, that’s why you and I wont become CEO’s. we dont have that mindset – even if we have the brains.”
Exactly. I’d much rather have a decent quality of life : income ratio now, when I can enjoy it then when i’m older.
