Natives are no better, Snaps. All the idiots who get to the checkout counter & wait until they’re rung up before reaching for their wallets! “Oh, that’s new. I guess I have to pay for this.”
When getting on a bus and you have no idea where that bus goes to and you need to speak to the driver, let the other people board first so they can sit the eff down while you carry on a 5 minute convo with the driver to try to figure out how to get to the South Street Seaport area. Ya dillholes!
When you go into McDonald’s don’t wait until it’s your turn to order to stare at the menu board to figure out what you want. GUESS WHAT, DILLHOLE…THE MCDONALD’S MENU IS THE SAME IN MANHATTAN AS IT IS IN TUMBLEWEEDVILLE, ARKANSAS!!!
I don’t stop for red lights either, denton. But at times there’s actually some traffic and a seasoned New Yorker would have planned for that. It’s more a manhattan thing than a brooklyn thing with less traffic in brooklyn
Easiest largee street in manhattan to jaywalk right cross..57th Street.
**Snappy’s got lots of pent up frustration wrt tourists. Too obvious?**

everytime I’m in Hong Kong, I realize NYC walking pace is snail-like in comparison

Another unwritten rule:

“Any other unwritten rules worth noting? ”
Keep to the right on the goddam escalators unless you’re walking up.
Only tourist pedestrians stop for red lights.
