donatella,
I went to a Hospital fund-raiser a few weeks ago.
black tie.
Seems that the rules are slowly being relaxed,
I noticed that many of the women weren’t wearing the
long gowns that usually go with “black tie”.
It was at Steiner Studios in the old Brooklyn Navy Yard.
fantastic complex, I had never been there before.
The views between the Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges
were spectacular.

I just locked in my mortgage rate on the new condo
t 4.875% -just waiting for the bank to give the final approval and then we can close!!!
The QQQQ’s have tested 45.27 3 times today and failed at resistance all 3 times. Look for a break above resistance, or a move below 44.05, then go with the trend.

people should know their ass dimensions

pet peeve:
gonads who stand at Duane Reade check out counter
after they have paid and start doing a wallet inventory
while a line of customers is waiting.
Just take your hemorrhoid cream and GTFO!
corollary:
Duane Reade counter people who must have learned their manners while nesting with wild dogs, since they
can’t muster up enough civility to say “thank you”.
“oh, and dog runs– bah-humbug. They wanted one on park on myblock few years ago….all those feel-good namby pamby libs….They were shocked when there was such a turnout against it.
Hey pete, down here in GH we would have kicked your ass, cuz we just got our dogrun!
Re: NY Style. I went to a black tie affair at the
Waldorf Astoria on Wednesday night for the industry I
work with. The industry has one of these in Sao Paulo Brazil too. The man to woman count is approximately 10 to 1. In Brazil, the women wear long bright, Grecian goddess gowns, with plunging necklines and sparkly shoes and ga-ga handbags, one step short of the tiara. In NY, that would be so WIERD. I wore a nice, sort of fancy-ish black duppioni silk pantsuit with fancy-ish bag and shoes. I was fine — NY has a totally different vibe with these things.
