Dale Earnhardt. His son is now a big star.
Never quite got into Nascar but I am a big fan of the #2 spectator sport (College Football).
I think THL once said she was a Nascar fan.

Benson’s Proud Papa Moment

Folks;
I went to my daughter’s graduation at the New School last night. It was a very happy moment for me.
I’ve mentioned on this thread before that my daughter has MS, which first manifested itself when she was a sophmore at Fordham University. At first, we didn’t know what we were dealing with. Soon thereafter, my daughter went into a tailspin, physically, spiritually and study-wise. She had to drop out of Fordham, and took a couple of years to get her life back together.
She has done just that, on her own gumption. She faced her situation realistically, rarely engages in self-pity, and takes excellent care of herself. Thanks to this and a daily regimen, she is back in excellent health, and doing well. She went back to school and did well. I am very proud of her, if I may say so myself.
I also found the graduation ceremony to be in keeping with the moment. The New School has long accommodated “non-traditional” students, those whose college studies are deferred for one reason or another. There were women in their 30’s with young children, as well as people who went back to school after raising their children, or those seeking a career change. It was uplifting to meet such people with the grit to see it through.
Congratulations to your daughter, Benson!
Sounds like a wonderful occasion.
Biffy!!! How’re you doing?
Welcome back, Biff. You using a walker???

I always thought if I ever saw DIBS on CW11 it would be a clip of him doing a perp or a perv walk.
