  1. My sister-in-law’s mother makes the only brussel sprouts dish I ever liked. It’s a Latvian recipe, I think, and has mushrooms in some kind of sauce. I have to ask for the recipe. It’s really good, and doesn’t have that bitter taste that most brussel sprouts do.

    I like mayo on some sandwiches, tuna and chicken salad, and my potato salad. Don’t like it on fries or burgers. Been using oil and vinegar more on subway type sandwiches. Speaking of which, haven’t had a great sub since college in Connecticut and that was back when we studied by candlelight.

  2. I knew of an older single guy in Italy who lived down the road from his mother and his sisters and their families. He had his own house. It had NO kitchen. Why? He didn’t need it. He ate ALL of his meals at his mothers or his sisters.
