“13 story Mosque”
You keep refering to it as 13 story mosque. I don’t know much about this mosque, but I highly doubt that the ‘mosque’ will be 13 stories. The mosque will likely take up the first 2 floors and the rest may be an educational center, community center, etc.
You all should go check out the Mosque on 96th street in Manhattan. It’s quiet beautiful. It was designed by Skidmore, Owens and Merrill (SOM), one of influential firms in Modern architecture. They did some spectacular work in the 50’s-60’s. Lever House being my fave in NY.
