Pardon me, but does anyone remember the story within the past couple of years about a strong smell of maple syrup over Lower Manhattan, Staten Island and parts of New Jersey? I remember the story, and that “they” finally figured out what caused it, but can’t remember the details. Just wondering because our offices have smelled like maple syrup all week, and we’re thinking it must be the same cause. (And now we’re all dying for pancakes and Freedom toast.)
