on the corner of lexington and 46th (approx) – some guy stands with hand made sign for ayn rand tours. Do you think that is volunteer work…or a make-shift gov’t job?
Ayn Rand is a total quack… BUT, she did inspire one of my favorite from the Simpsons. The daycare center Maggie went to — “The Ayn Rand School for Tots”
tybur6,
lol, is that across from the
Marquise de Sade school of Brazilian Waxing?
yeah, i wouldnt wanna work with kids. the only perk of being “gay” is that there’s a very slim chance of you getting stuck with children. finding a cause i believe in sounds like a very difficult thing as i dont really believe in anything. lol
well – synergies is what they want to develop where I work with some real state agency -(quasi-state where I am). Guess we’ll lose out because the overseer of all of it is from the real state bureaucracy.
I don’t think Ayn Rand was a total quack. Atlas Shrugged is one of my favorite books. While I think her ideas went a bit to far in some respects, I don’t totally disagree with everything she believed.
**ducking from the shoes sure to be thrown my way**

“plus most volunteer work that’s needed for kids is just picking up the slack of their sorry ass parents”
