an inexpensive solution is something like this:

you hook the transmitter to the 3mm port of the laptop
and it sends a wireless signal to the powered speakers anywhere in the apartment.
there are better solutions but this one’s not bad.
tybur6, apparently they have a sale showroom in their Seacaucus location. The floor model i bought was going to be shipped there if i hadn’t bought it.
I think the stuff is decent quality at a decent price. So is Ethan Allen for that matter if you’re looking for a more formal look.

m4l — Why just bikers? Shouldn’t pedestrians carry general liability insurance too? If someone scraped a rivet of their jeans on your car, would you ask for their insurance?

bikers should be insured. one time a dude scrapped my car with his bike handle and was trying not to pay for damages and saying he has no insurance, blah blah blah. of course, he gladly went to ATM to take out 500 when my buddies and I threatened him with beat down plus take his bike. it’s for their own good to carry insurance else we’ll see lots more bikers laying on the ground from beatdowns
Two things… I’m in the market for a new couch too. Is the furniture at the Door Store nice? The prices actually seem reasonable. I’m frightened. Hold me.
And… I’ve had a car in Brooklyn for 3+ years and I’ve gotten a total of $90 in parking tickets. It’s not that hard people.

nothing yet – I’ve been shopping around for some sort of wireless speaker system that i can remotely hook up to my laptop and play my music thru itunes. Bose has something similar – but it’s like 600 bucks
nothing for the TV yet – any recommendations?
