…I saw the movie “The Third Man” for the first time about 2 months ago at the Film Forum. I was filled with anticipation, as my father-in-law always stated that this was one of the greatest films ever made. Also, I’m a big Orson Welles fan. I saw that you mentioned it as a great film too.
I was underwhelmed. Perhaps I was expecting too much. I agree that it is a great film, but, one of the greatest?
I think tyburg can blame every person who backed down from the crazy driver over her life for the way she acted yesterday.
It’s like people who don’t discipline their kids. What are you supposed to do when your kids throws a fit in the candy aisle, give them what they want??? Fuck no. If you give them what they want it’s the same thing as backing down from someone who always gets what they want by being aggressive.

I think most can take comfort in knowing that for example,
that woman that Tyburg6 encountered will eventually meet up with another woman or man just waiting to take it one step further. She cannot go through life going nuts on everyone before life comes back at her.
