  1. I’ve gone sort of, like, wow, on some of Mr. B’s topics but haven’t argued about them – it’s his ball, he makes the rules. My only bone of contention has been the background color of the tee shirts.
Now, however, I have a Mr. B rant – why does it take so long for Forum posts to go up? I know he wants to vet them but it was almost an hour for mine this a.m.

  2. Was on an interview at a snooty firm (now dissolved), my resume had undergrad GPA and of course my law school and the interviewer looks up and asks, “trouble with the LSAT, dear?”

  3. tyburg, once I went to this place “Rocky’s house of Guns” in Wenatchee, Washington, up in the Cascade mountains. I went with a few power traders (traders of electric power) there to prove that even though I came from NEW YORK, I was an A-OK person. They were picking out guns for me and the next trip, I think I was supposed to go hunting with them. I think they had pity on me though; I seemed to have passed the test. They didn’t make me go or go on a horseback riding trip in the mountains to prove myself.

The fact is that if I had a gun, I’d probably accidentally kill myself or somebody else.

  4. “CGar, were you at the fort greene house tour yesterday? I thought I saw you on a date with a woman and got confused.”

jessi, it’s entirely possible that I was on a date with a beautiful woman at the Ft. Greene house tour yesterday. But since she’s married — and to a PLUSA no less — I don’t really know that it would be appropriate for me to say anything else. (And, if you happened to see us sucking face, as Dave so tactlessly posted, please do NOT say so in the OT.)

  5. wow snappy. an employer asking for sat scores? that’s just as bad as nosey landlords who wanna know how much money you have in the bank and your credit history! nuts! coconuts!
