so my vet keeps hounding me with postcards that my dog needs his heartworms shots, and a new rabies vacc i guess too, but it’s mostly the heartworms shots cards ive been getting.. without sounding like a terrible dog owner, are heartworms a major concern for dogs? or is this just, you know, vets trying to squeeze money from people? if it’s legit of course ill do it, but if others here dont, then im mnot going to bother.
I didn’t quote anybody, Legion. In coop thread though, I said they should use their surplus money and donate to the revolution though.
CGar, back in olden days before you heard of Brooklyn, often advertised between Smith/Court as CobbleHill East.
Now some new people want to call it Boerum Hill.
Issue comes from Cobble Hill historic district ends at Court while Boerum Hill is other side of Smith…..so what are non-historic district blocks to be called…since in earlier era all of it referred to as SouthBrooklyn or RedHook.
The Goldman witch hunt is nauseating. I have yet to meet someone with strong anti-GS views who can actually articulate what GS is and how it makes money – beyond whatever they read in the NY Times or the notoriously misinformed Rolling Stone article, of course.
“How far north do people call Caroll Gardens east of court/smith is another story.”
Who possibly cares? There is nothing and no one worthwhile east of Smith Street. 😉
I used to hear that Cobble Hill ended at Court, but ever since Smith Street was revitalized from its shuttered and boarded up past, I’ve heard that Cobble Hill extends to Smith.
