I also have a CFA but got it in 1983. I’m sure i couldn’t pass the three exams now but I really don’t care.
And yes, I do trade my own account but I’m employed by a hedge fund. And no, I’m not a day-trader. Most day traders I know haven’t made enough money to buy a house, let alone 4 of them.
Dave does work at a Hedge Fund because you must carry financial licenses like Series 7 , etc.

There was an interesting exchange the other day between Blankfein and Al Sharpton. Took place at the Obama speech at Cooper Union. They end up next to each other making small talk and Sharpton learns that he and Blankfein grew up around the corner from each other in the Brooklyn projects.
