Yeah, the bartender told me to “just wait, I have a lot of people here.” Hmmm… So I got a chance to talk to Ed and his friend, who invited me to his sister’s birthday party there next Friday night. Hmm…
Well, to happier thoughts, I met so many people for the first time…..Denton and his wife, Legion, DH, Pigeon, Mrs. Champion, Cobble (definately next time a real conversation!), Lechael and his lovely wife from Kansas City, More4Less, ParkSloper…Noki…
I was really disappointed, though, that Rob didn’t wear his rainbow-colored, padded, sequined, bike shorts to the party AS HE PROMISED!!!
Wait…we had a rude ‘tender? 🙁 The lady I dealt with was super nice!
“The woman bartender was much better, but to be fair, they really needed two bartenders working at the same time last night.”
No excuse!! He was working alone which meant he doesn’t need to split tips!! He seemed to find time to hit on the chick at the bar who looked like she was 13, and give his friends who were verbally assaulting his patrons free drinks though.
Great time as always, thanks to cobblesnaps, cgar and m4l. Loki was a fun spot and they’ve got Harp.

“Hey What! Are you here today? Did you see you got TWO, count ’em, two references on my shirt?!”
Thanks Cobble

Someday this war is gonna end..
“Was one of them a heavyset guy with a beige colored shirt on?? He was nice to me, asked what I did and some other small talk. Sitting right in front of the taps.”
Yup. Apparently Biff and I set them off and you didn’t. How is it possible that there were two easily offended people there and DIBS didn’t set them off??? I mean sure, I know how to get a rise out of people, but Biff is pretty smooth and non-offensive and DIBS, you’re like a volatile compound that can cause an explosion at any moment!
Actually Pete was there with me when I had my little thing with those guys, and I think they were giving Pete some guff too.
I did notice that the bartender was a dick. It was as if he had a union job and just didn’t give a damn. The woman who was there earlier was OK.

It was two younger black guys by the taps. I think they both had baseball caps on. I was going to confront them but couldn’t find Amzi (to make sure he had my back) or Snappy (in case she had to throw glitter into their eyes to blind them).
Yes, I had a bit of interaction with them too. They were getting pretty drunk and doing the obligatory flirt/catch a rap thing, but started getting a little annoying, not too much fun waiting for my drink.
