I think cobble and rob need to get to smith street coffee house thread. Someone signed in with name ‘bococaloca’ and
complained about some other place limiting laptops usage.
I used to have doormen and appreciated them to an extent, but let’s not lionize them. What they do is neither rocket science nor excessively demanding. Unless they’re in a white glove building on the Upper East Side, in my experience, many of them spend most of their time sitting reading the paper.
