Lechacal! I honestly don’t know when it comes out. It may be out now in fact.
I was able to swallow the first word, but when it came to the C U Next Tuesday (credit to Delepp!), I cringed. I have a hard time believing that wasn’t thrown in simply for the shock value of having a kid say that word. Hollywood again disappoints.
Biffy – Have you solved your hotel problem? There’s also VRBO for one night rentals. Or they could put the dogs in a kennel for one night. There’s one near me.
Pressing is a real skill – I can make coffee but can’t iron.
We’ve all seen movies where kids do some serious cursing. How do you feel about that? Do you ever ask yourself if the words being used are integral to the scene, if it’s clearly gratuitous? Do you howl with laughter, depending on the circumstances? Do you notice at all?
This preview of the movie “Kick Ass” is causing quite a stir among parents. Watch this brief clip and tell me what you think. And no, it’s not the word the girl (who in real life is 13) uses 0:19 that’s causing the brouhaha. It’s the one used at 0:41 that’s got panties in a bunch all across America. The word ‘boycott’ is being bandied about by parents everywhere who are promising not to take their kids to see the movie. It should be noted though that this movie is rated ‘R’ and technically shouldn’t be viewed by wee ones anyway.
Biff, how big are the dogs???

Yecch. A million other words they could have used instead.
Biffy, definitely takes more skill to be a seamstress/presser 🙂 Although I may be biased….
C-Gar – So the boobies and kittens video basically had nothing for you then?
Ok…opinion time!
