  1. Pete – an increase in biking means a decrease in ridership. This is decreased revenue, but can also translate into a decrease in expenses. But it also means fewer CARS so the buses move faster.

    The major problem that I see is that the more bicycle commuting there is, the more people there are that think you need to wear spandex to commute to work. What’s wrong with a pair of shorts people?!

  2. interesting article yesterday on some severe parkinson’s patients…could not walk without assistance…but could still ride a bicycle.
