  1. i’ve been wandering the streets of detroit on google maps and i really really really really really want to move there. not this year tho, maybe in a year or so. how does one make that happen? relocation to a new city seems more daunting then relocating to a new neighborhood.

The PLUSAS will take up a collection starting right now. certain members (11217, denton, etc) will match all donations.

    J/K 🙂

  2. Rob is correct. Not to mention sweat… t-shirt absorb sweat before it shows through your shirt. And I think this applies to all dress shirts, not just those with button-down collars. 🙂

  3. Presenting….

I received a letter in the mail that was sent to the wrong address. (A proper letter, not just mail) And I took the effort to mark the envelope and drop it in a mailbox.

I realized that I learned this ethical, neighborly behavior and sense of duty from my various role models (parents, teachers, television etc.)

Based on the general degenerate nature of the youth I see wandering around Brooklyn and their equally degenerate parents (just think of simple behavior like using the entire city as your garbage can)… what hope is there that any basically decent, non-self-centered behavior will actually exist for much longer? Ya know, like forwarding an old lady’s misdirected letter…

  4. quote:
Who wears a t-shirt or undershirt under a button-down, and why?

I always wear an undershirt tshirt because then you dont have to wash the shirt you wear over them for a couple of wearings. I thought that was the point of an undershirt, like the point of underwear so you dont have to wash your pants?

  5. CGar, most businessmen in Canada didn’t wear undershirts when I was there and, when I first began working here, I was surprised to see that most business men in New York do. So I tried it out and have been wearing them ever since. They actually don’t at all make you any warmer than if you didn’t have it on…in fact, I think they may even help keep you cool. Most importantly, they ensure you don’t get embarrassing sweat stains all over your dress shirt (unless it’s a really disgustingly hot and humid day and you’re riding your bike across the Brooklyn Bridge!)
